Dr. Bianca Harper
Bianca Harper is a Clinical Associate Professor at the ASU School of Social Work. Bianca oversees the Arizona Child and Adolescent Survivor Initiative (ACASI) within the Family Violence Center. Bianca has taught social work practice with children, youth, and families and advanced clinical practice courses. She has also taught foundation courses and has experience teaching both on the ground and virtually. As a licensed clinical social worker, she has worked with children, adolescents, and families affected by relational trauma. Bianca has direct practice experience in psychotherapy, child forensic interviewing, family advocacy, crisis counseling, and school social work. She has also worked in special education and early childhood development. Her research interests include child maltreatment, interpersonal violence, traumatic stress, trauma-informed treatment, and pedagogy.
